In Positive Handling For School Leaders

Any leader of an organisation is required to be aware of any potential danger that poses a threat to the safety and the well-being of their school staff. At the same time, management should also ensure staff are adequately trained to assess and manage an individual or a situation that can lead to aggression.  

In this course you will learn how to ensure, as far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare at work of your staff to assess the risks in your school (including the risk of reasonably foreseeable violence), and decide how significant these risks are, in order to agree on what to do to prevent or control the risks, and develop a clear management plan to achieve this.  

My safety awareness briefings provide staff with a detailed structure on the potential risk in their work environment and give them the confidence in managing aggression.
